Slalom Awarded 11 2024 AWS Partner Award Acknowledgments Including GenAI Consulting Partner of the Year - Global

Las Vegas, NV—December 2, 2024 — Announced today at the Partner Awards Gala at AWS re:Invent 2024, Slalom, the global business and technology consulting company, was named a winner of three 2024 Geography and Global Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Awards and a finalist for eight awards. Finalists represent the top-three-ranked AWS Partners across any data-driven award set. 

The awards recognize leaders around the globe playing a key role helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS. Slalom has built deep relationships with customers in 52 markets around the world, such as AWS customers United Airlines and Glenmark.

The Geography and Global AWS Partner Awards that Slalom received for 2024 are:

  • GenAI Consulting Partner of the Year – Global: Recognizes top consulting partners with the Generative AI Competency that have deep expertise working with businesses to help them adopt and strategize generative AI, build and test generative AI applications, train and customize foundation models, operate, support, and maintain generative AI applications and models, protect generative AI workloads, and define responsible AI principles and frameworks.

Slalom’s work with United Airlines was considered in its evaluation for this award. United partnered with Slalom to operationalize its use of GenAI and bring its first two GenAI use cases to production, halving United’s mean time to resolution for customer inquiries and enabling its teams to customize 35% more flight updates for travelers. 

  • Industry Partner of the Year – Retail – North America: Recognizes top AWS Partners with the AWS Retail Competency who provide innovative technology offerings that accelerate retailers’ modernization and innovation journey across all areas in the enterprise. 

Slalom’s work with a leading maker of pet care products was considered in its evaluation for this award. The company turned to Slalom for help creating universal customer profiles, which integrate pet and consumer data to provide pet parents a more integrated, personalized experience.    

  • Industry Partner of the Year – Travel & Hospitality – North America: Recognizes top AWS Partners with the AWS Travel and Hospitality Competency who provide technology products and services to accelerate the industry’s modernization and innovation journey from behind-the-scenes operational efficiencies to guest-facing customer experiences. 

Slalom’s work with a major airline was considered in its evaluation for this award. Similar to United, Slalom also helped the company implement GenAI, and also leveraged the Slalom AWS GenAI Testbed to do so. The airline’s first GenAI-powered solution has allowed hundreds of customer service agents to reduce response times from an average of 30 minutes to five.

The Geography and Global AWS Partner Awards included a self-nomination process across several award categories. Award submissions were reviewed by a third-party, Canalys, and winners were selected with special emphasis placed on customer success use cases presented in the nomination form.
