Slalom Expands LATAM Reach Into Colombia
Dec 9, 2024—Slalom, the global business and technology consulting company, today announced it has opened a Global Technology Center in Colombia, with offices coming to Medellin and Bogota. The company plans to hire more than 500 professionals in LATAM through 2025 to support customers who want help accelerating their growth and transformation, embracing emerging technology, and delivering initiatives faster and better.
Colombia is the newest LATAM country to support Slalom’s new delivery model, named Allshore. Earlier this year, Slalom opened offices in Mexico and began to hire engineering talent with the goal of empowering the careers of local consultants who excel in building products and delivering solutions. Allshore combines local, national and global talent with digital delivery tools like AI to help companies customize their teams to fit the most advantageous time, place and price.
Carl Newton, Managing Director at Slalom, has overseen the expansion to Colombia as part of his role leading Allshore. Slalom encourages engineers, senior engineers and architects based in Bogota and Medellin to apply for jobs in software engineering, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS and Azure), Data and AI. In addition, Colombia will serve as the LATAM hub for Slalom's Salesforce offering, and Slalom is looking to hire experienced team members with expertise across all areas of the Salesforce ecosystem.
